Omicron Season Precautions

In light of the rapid community spread of the omicron variant of COVID-19, your pastoral team met to decide on and implement a few additional pandemic precautions. We deeply appreciate the continued efforts of this community to protect our least protected. Please read on for additional precautions which will be in effect beginning Saturday, 1/8/22:

Not Boosted? Consider Our Live Stream

We encourage those adults who have not been vaccinated and boosted (plus two weeks) to enjoy our live-stream worship option.

Unmasked On Stage Policy

We will continue to have only one unmasked person on stage at a time.

If a person who is scheduled to be on stage unmasked in our worship service is notified of an exposure within the previous 48 hours, we will follow CDC guidelines to test 5 days after the exposure and will also test again within 24 hours of the worship service.

We will also have an unseated buffer zone between the microphones and community members attending worship.

Additional In Person Precautions

We continue to ask all attendees, ages 2+, to wear masks while indoors.

To minimize close contact across our service, we will serve communion elements at each table or seat.

During our usual peace time, we will wave signs of peace to each other and maintain social distance.

We will also pause on our usual coffee and tea service for now. Our Youth & Children’s will have snacks outside or skip snacks, as weather permits.

We will continue to run our HEPA filters that cover our entire chapel space, and leave our chapel door open for additional air flow. We have an additional HEPA filter ordered for our Children’s Ministry classroom.

There will also be several socially distant single seats available in the back of the chapel.

Service Exposure Notification Policy

We encourage attendees with smartphone to enable their Exposure Notification apps.

We are keeping attendance logs at each service. If a service attendee voluntarily reports a positive test result within 48 hours of attending a service to us, we will notify attendees of the potential exposure via email as soon as possible.

Voluntary reports can be made to or via text to 720-316-6194.

Thank You, Deeply

We know this has been a long and hard season. Please know that your pastoral team makes each of these decisions with intentionality, deliberation and prayer.  We are taking these steps to be able to continue meeting in person. Thank you for your cooperation as we all navigate and adapt to the current situation with as much grace and care as possible, in hopes of being able to offer in person worship without interruption.
