Holy Week Happenings

Can you believe Easter is almost here? Join us throughout next week as we prepare to celebrate together on Easter morning:

We’re headed into the last week of Lent, and an opportunity for you to participate in our Left Hand Lent Project.

This Lent, we’re making a communal effort to each give up a habit that keeps us from loving God, neighbor or self.

In the process, we are collecting a community gift to help Middle Collegiate Church rebuild after their devastating sanctuary fire and to support our racial justice community partner, the Black Lives Matter Freedom School. Read all the details on our Lent Project blog post

Contributions to our Lent Project can be made via Paypal to PayPal.me/LeftHandChurch, with a note of “Lent” by Good Friday. We’ll share our community’s progress during our Easter Service announcements, and make our gifts the next day.

Join us for a special prayer service during Holy Week.

Note: Our Holy Thursday prayer service will be in lieu of our normal Wednesday Prayer Gathering this week.

The service will include contemplative prayer time and music by our worship pastor Heatherlyn.

Attention Left Hand middle and high schoolers!

We’re excited to meet up again in-person. The Left Hand Youth Group will have a special gathering on Easter during the main service.

Plan on meeting at the bell tower in front of UCC at 10:50. We will take a walking trip to Loomiller park less than half a mile away to play some disc golf, and have a chat about Christ’s great love for us. It’ll be a fun and fulfilling experience and we hope to see you there!

Plan on wearing masks and keeping social distance by household or bubble.
