Pardon Our Progress

Co-pastors Kristie Sykes & John Gaddis in our new space

Starting From The Ground Up

The chapel before renovations.

It’s dusty work updating a chapel that hasn’t been used much in decades. Our first adventure in renovations is to remove some very old carpet and lay some new laminate floors.

All cleared out and ready for carpet removal.

Rev. Sarah Verasco, UCC Longmont’s Senior Pastor and her volunteer crew started us off by pulling up the carpet. We’re sharing this phase of renovation costs and efforts equally with UCC Longmont, and are deeply appreciative of their efforts.

Our new laminate flooring has been ordered and is expected to arrive any day now. Kristie Sykes is coordinating a volunteer crew from our community to lay those floors.

Our Vision

After floors, we’ll move on to upgrading the wiring, installing new light fixtures, and furnishing the place with a stage, coffee bar and a variety of comfy seating options. Our vision is a warm place with coffee house vibes for great live music and engaging original sermons. We can’t wait to share it with you.

Vision: A funky & compelling space to gather for great music and sermons.
Vision: A space with coffee house vibes, that invites gathering in community for both Sunday worship and programming throughout the week.
